Who of Them is the Bad Guy?
When the US's Unlawful Internet Gambling Act takes over the news on money and the world wide web, a great number of people are wondering what the real difference between online gaming and e-commerce is.
Two people are sitting in their bureaus risking money on Internet, one is violating the law, at the same time the other one is not. One of these men is a daily seller, and with no respect to how you take that fact, that businessman is risking his money for the risk to to raise his income. I suppose that both men are using the Internet for one and the same cause. But, the person gambling online is at present taking part in a dishonest business. Why unlawful? Because Government of the USA doesn't get a single cent of the income from the the army of online gamblers. It only gets tax money from the day trader.

Those common people are not professionally trained stock brokers, and hold no legal permission - in spite of all this they face no official obstructions to risking their money online.
Really, the single real difference between online trading and online gaming is the amount of money the US Government makes out of the industries: Online commerce = huge money; Gambling on Internet = not a cent and lots of casino bonuses for gamblers. Today they say that the US Congress is working on the anti-gambling online forbidding law for the exact reason that they are not getting any revenues of the millions spent each day.
